The Trust lost one of its Legacy Members recently with the sad death of Peter Sheridan who passed away on Saturday 16th August at the age of 74.
‘Pete’ had been a Wanderers supporter for many many years, He usually socialized in the Vere Suite before games and was a regular traveller to away games with the Wycombe Wanderers Independent Supporters Club (“WWISC”) who have written this short moving tribute:
“WWISC would like to send our condolences to Sue Sheridan and family, widow of Pete Sheridan who passed away after a short illness on Saturday 13th August 2016.
Pete was a member of WWISC for about 10 years and was well liked by all, he used to travel with us on away trips (he enjoyed his pint), and also came on our end of season overseas breaks with Sue, which he enjoyed very much.
He became a friend to a lot of our members who were very sad to hear of his passing. Pete will be sadly missed within WWISC, especially by ‘the back of the coach’.
RIP Pete.”
The funeral is being held on Tuesday 30th August at 12.30 at St Augustines Church, Amersham Hill, High Wycombe but with a request for family flowers only.
