More Good Work Done by the Volunteers

Following the successful clean-up operation done by a group of volunteers a week ago (see earlier feature article), there was a further opportunity for fans to get involved this weekend.

On Sunday 14th October another working party was assembled as there was still plenty to do in and around the stadium at Adams Park. Good progress was made on repainting the gates brought from Loakes Park and which stand at the entrance to the upper car park, though as of today these remain unfinished. Much more good work was also done on tidying up the grass banks and shrubbery areas around the complex. Click on pictures to enlarge.

The Club have been very appreciative of this work. WWFC Director and OWWSA Chairman John Derben sent this message ” To the volunteers who attended the work day on Sunday THANK YOU.   We really have made a difference over the last two of these days and everyone at Adams Park are delighted with your efforts.”

We hope to have one more session on Sunday 11th November which will include a break around 11am to respect Remembrance Sunday.

If you can be there and have not already got your name down, please email John Derben [email protected]

Thank you – it does make a difference!
