Trust Members’ Update

Some important updates:

Sale, Shares and Season Tickets

Although we continue to have discussions with the interested parties, real progress is now unlikely until our league status for next season is confirmed. We appreciate this is frustrating and we will inform you as soon as there are any developments.

The longer these delays continue, the more likely it is the Community Share Scheme will be the route forward. The early response has been encouraging and we would like to thank everybody who has already signed up for the scheme. If you haven’t done so yet, please do consider this if you can.

Click on Community_Share_Scheme for the Community Share Scheme document. Once completed these can be posted to the address on the form, or handed in at the Trust table in the Vere Suite on Saturday. Garry Heath can answer any queries at: [email protected]

At this time of the season, cash flow becomes very tight. You can make a big difference by renewing your season ticket before 28 April, the date by when you need to renew to secure your current seat. Click here for details of 2014/15 season tickets

Good Friday vs. Northampton Town – Adams Park 3pm

It goes without saying this is a match of huge importance. The Club team are working on a number of ideas to attract a large crowd and details will be announced shortly.

They would also like your help and here are a few ideas:

  • Could you bring an extra fan to this match – friend, family member, colleague, or a fan of a Premier League or non league team who aren’t playing on this day?
  • Could you distribute some flyers around the town or your local community next week?
  • Do you have any contacts that could help market the match to scout groups, sports clubs, military groups, etc?
  • Do you have any contacts that could help us procure activities – bouncy castle, face painting, etc. – at preferential rates?

Please email [email protected] if you can help with the flyers or the contacts requested above, or if you think you can help in any other way, or if you have any queries.

Snowdon and Ben Nevis

We’re very pleased that Trust member Lisa Bowker and Trust and Club director David Roberton have agreed to climb Snowdon in June, as part of a larger project organised by Wrexham FC, and Trust member Frank Burton is climbing Ben Nevis in September – all to raise funds for the Trust and Club.

More details are available at the Trust website article: https://www.wycombewandererstrust.com/2014/04/lisa-and-david-are-climbing-snowdon-and-gaz-is-behind-them-please-show-your-support-with-sponsorship

Naturally, we would be delighted if you could spare a few pounds to sponsor any (or all) of them and they will be active with their sponsorship forms at the remaining three home matches. You can also pledge your sponsorship by an email to [email protected] stating which of the three you would like to sponsor and the amount, and he will pass your emails on.
