A ‘win win’ for the Blues and One Can Trust

Wycombe Wanderers Trust has launched three new fun souvenirs – to help raise money for the Blues and the local One Can Trust foodbank.

So now you can get kitted up for the most important games in Chairboys history and at the same time help raise money for two good causes.

All three souvenirs come from the same people who brought you the now-famous facemasks, featuring the light and dark blue quarters. To date, sales of the masks have raised more than £2,500 for One Can Trust and a similar amount for the Club via Wycombe Wanderers Trust.

So why not treat yourself, or someone you love, to a retro style ‘Lucky Rosette’. Hand-made locally, within the sound of the Adams Park roar, the three-tier fabric rosettes are 26cm (10in) long with a 5 cm (2in) official club crest in the centre and a brooch style safety fastening. Price: £6.99 + P&P.

Gearing up for the playoffs? (Who isn’t?) Why not decorate your house, garden or lounge with the official Blues Playoff Party Bunting. Hand-made not far from Hillbottom Road, each 3 m (9ft 10 in) length comes with 15 x 15cm (6in) long, double-sided fabric pennants – eight light blue, four dark blue and three in the famous quarters. Price: £14.99 + P&P.

You can also help raise money by snapping up the limited edition, new official Wycombe Wanderers Trust badges. Featuring the Trust’s brand new 4everBlues logo, the metal badges are square and measure a generous 38mm (1.5in) across.  Price: £3.50 + P&P

£1 from every single purchase of the new souvenirs will be donated to the One Can Trust, to help fight the growing crisis of food poverty in and around High Wycombe.

All other profits will help to support the Club in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has paralysed the finances of lower league clubs. And because the money has been raised by Wycombe Wanderers Trust, it will help protect the supporters’ remaining 25% ownership of Wycombe Wanderers FC, so that fans will continue to have a say in the way the Club is run for years to come.

Trust Chair, Nigel Kingston said:

“We are proud to launch these distinctive souvenirs for fellow fans to enjoy – especially with the two vital playoff games coming up against Fleetwood on July 3 and July 6 – and who knows after that!

“In order to protect the “supporter quarter” share of WWFC that we still own, we need to raise money for the Club through the Trust – and we hope that sales of the new Blues rosettes, bunting and badges will be as big a success as the facemasks have been.

“We are also delighted to continue our support for One Can Trust – a charity which does such amazing work for families in and around High Wycombe”.
