Trust blue-print to help Club with cash

Wycombe Wanderers Trust is drawing up an action plan to raise more money to support the Club in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

Earlier this week, Chairman Rob Couhig vowed that the Club “will survive this crisis” but warned that the Blues  had already lost £1million because of the football shutdown and was on course to lose £350,000 a month going forward.

The Trust’s fundraising action plan, overseen by Board Director John Jewell (pictured) was discussed at last week’s Trust Board Meeting, with various ideas being actioned in the coming weeks.

As reported in the Minutes, sales of face masks, in WWFC colours on eBay, have already raised more than £4,000 to be split equally between the One Can Trust foodbank and the Trust. Now the Trust is looking at other fund-raising initiatives to support the Club.
