Disabled Supporters Association holds first meeting at Adams Park

Wycombe Wanderers proudly hosted its first in-person meeting of the new Disabled Supporters Association last Friday, giving disabled fans the opportunity to learn more about the Association’s aims for improving facilities and services around Adams Park.

Hosted by Safety Officer Stephen Copp and Wycombe Wanderers Trust director Peter Lerner – both co-founders of the Association – the event involved a tour of the stadium and the chance to provide feedback and pose questions about the planned developments in terms of accessibility into the stadium, sheltered accommodation for disabled fans, and provision of services such as audio commentary for the visually impaired.

Peter Lerner said: “Having received a fantastic response to the news that Wycombe Wanderers – both the club and Trust – were launching an association for our disabled supporters, it was great to get together in person and kick off the process towards making Adams Park a more enjoyable and accessible place for everyone to come to.

“We look forward to holding more events in future and welcome more members to be part of the continued development of the Association.”
