The draw took place on Thursday night for the first winner in the Quarters Ball Club draw.
The first ball drawn out was number 404 (out of a total of 625 sold) and that had been bought by Steve Dell from Widmer End.
When contacted for his reaction, Steve, a WWFC fan since 1985, could only say “it’s fantastic”. He went on to tell us that as he is such a big fan of the club, he was pleased to turn down the offer of a refund on his 2020-21 season ticket. So this cash prize will be particularly welcome.

As the Quarters Ball was not drawn out before Steve’s ball, then the sum of £125 rolls over to the May draw making a bigger pot should that happen next time. The next draw will be made during the Trust Board meeting on May 27th .
