The May prize of £531.20 in the monthly Quarters Ball club draw went to Elaine Marshall.
Elaine, a stalwart Wycombe Wanderers supporter, has bought 5 x £2 balls for each monthly draw so far and it was one of her numbers (419) that was drawn out first during our Board Meeting on Thursday night.
With the blue quarters ball not being the first drawn , it means that the extra ‘bonus’ element of £257.80 will rollover to next month when June’s total pot could well be over £900.
Elaine was delighted to receive her cash prize and first found out at 4am on Friday. Having trouble sleeping, she checked her emails and found our message of congratulations. Then she did nod off and later in the morning could not find that email so thought she must have dreamt it!
Her husband Tom is also well known around Adams Park. He took part in the very first Football Fans in Training (FFIT) course run by WWSET held back in 2017 and Tom has since returned as a ‘legend’ to help encourage others on later FFIT courses.
Elaine’s father was very pleased last year when club director Pete Couhig turned up on his doorstep with the League One Playoff Trophy.
