Car Parking at Adams Park – must be booked in advance

After the friendly with Leicester City, there were learning curves for the club’s operational team, which are being resolved as a matter of priority ahead of the start of the league campaign at home to Accrington Stanley on Saturday 7th August.

One change to the club’s matchday operation is the requirement for fans to pre-book their parking spaces in the upper field, with no sales available on the day of the game. The lower tier remains fully booked for the whole season.

This move will reduce queues coming into the stadium, with no payments being taken, and remove the frustration of fans reaching the car park gates only to learn there are no spaces available on the day of the game.

The following alternative solutions are being implemented:

1) The new park and ride scheme from West Wycombe will be free for all users for a trial period. Passengers must have purchased a ticket for the match in order to board the bus. This service runs regular shuttles to and from Adams Park, before and after each home game

2) The club is working quickly on an enhancement of the Arriva bus service that links the Cressex park and ride, bus station and rail station, and will announce these developments once finalised

3) The club is working to build relationships with sites along Hillbottom Road that can accommodate vehicles on matchdays

The availability of upper tier car park passes may vary on a game-by-game basis, and will generally be available at least a week ahead of the game, up until noon on the day before. Passes for the match against Accrington will be on sale early this week.

Please help spread the word about these changes.
