Just two months after Trevor won our then biggest QBC prize so far of £608, he has been eclipsed by his wife Jacky Cox.
Jacky’s ball number 329 was the first to be drawn out of the bag at Thursday night’s Trust Board meeting and she takes home £631.20.
Had the blue quartered ball appeared first then Jacky would have won £1500 but it didn’t and so the accumulated bonus of £868.80 rolls over to the October draw when it will increase further to more than £1000.
Jacky was delighted with her prize anyway, saying this was “her first big win, apart from the odd raffle prize“. She hopes to spend it on upgrading her laptop. She attended her first WWFC game in August 1993, has been a season ticket holder since 1996 and is a member of WWISC. She was one of the original Chairboys Funders who lent the club money when it was most needed. Current favourite player is Garath McCleary
