Chairgirls under 18s join the Junior Premier League Warriors

Wycombe Wanderers Women are delighted to be joining the JPL Warriors ahead of the new 2022/23 season.

Over the last couple of years, the u18s section of the Women’s team has been regenerated as we welcomed new coaches Christian Price (manager), Andy Robinson, Rob Sage & newly appointed coach Sonny Moore. They helped the girls achieve a 2nd place finish in the Thames Valley Counties u18s League and later went on to achieve Berks & Bucks Cup success.

The Chairgirls are delighted to be joining this exciting league for the first time. It will be a competitive league for the players however the club is looking forward to seeing the dedication, commitment and positive mindset from everyone involved as we look to make our first season in the JPL a successful one.

The Junior Premier League offers many benefits to players including 4x 20 minute games, at least 50% playing time for all players and the league have a huge passion for player development.

Under 18s team manager, Christian Price commented on the hopes for the upcoming season saying “We are very excited to be joining the JPL Warriors, having secured a fantastic stadium at Burnham FC for our home matches, we’re really excited for the huge, fresh challenges which lie ahead that we’ll face as players and coaches”.

Pre season fixtures for the u18s will be announced in due course.
