Wycombe Wanderers FC Women are delighted to announce that Karen Adams has put her name forward to sponsor the Chairgirls’ first team coaches for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Karen Adams, granddaughter of Frank Adams who was a former captain for the Chairboys, has supported Wycombe Wanderers for many years. Upon sponsoring the coaching staff, Karen said ‘It will be an honour to support the coaches; I know that David Roberton was very committed to WWFCW and I’m doing this in his memory’.
Karen and David knew each other through Wycombe Wanderers Trust and its various events held throughout the years. David also sat on the board of WWSET as a trustee, with Karen. Committed to WWFCW, David continued his work for all aspects of the football club before he sadly died from Cancer in 2021.
