Game Rules:

Objective: The objective of the Trust Chairboys Challenge is to accurately predict the league position of Wycombe Wanderers FC, at specific points during the season.

Set Up:

Participants must register to join the game with their four predictions, before midnight on Friday 11 August.

Each participant is allowed one entry in the competition which is FREE to enter.

Game Rounds: The Chairboys Challenge consists of four prediction rounds, corresponding to specific points in the season:

Round 1 – After 10 Games:

Participants must predict the league position of Wycombe Wanderers FC after the Chairboys have played 10 league matches. The cut-off point is midnight on the day of the tenth game.

Round 2 – After 20 Games:

Participants must predict the league position of Wycombe Wanderers after the team has played 20 league matches. The cut-off point is midnight on the day of the twentieth game.

Round 3 – After 30 Games:

Participants must predict the league position of Wycombe Wanderers after the team has played 30 league matches. The cut-off point is midnight on the day of the thirtieth game.

Round 4 – End of the Season:

Participants must predict the final league position of Wycombe Wanderers at the conclusion of the League 1 season.

Prediction Format:

For each round, participants must provide their predicted league position for Wycombe Wanderers. League positions must be specified as a number (e.g., 1st, 5th, 10th, etc.).

Scoring:

The scoring for each prediction round is based on the accuracy of the participant’s prediction. The closer the prediction is to the actual league position, the higher the score.

Scoring will be calculated as follows:

Exact Prediction: 10 points

Within 1 place of actual position: 5 points

Within 2 places of actual position: 3 points

Within 3 places of actual position: 1 point

Determining Winners:

At the end of the season, the participant with the highest cumulative score from all four rounds will be declared the winner.

In the case of a tie, the participant who made the most accurate predictions in the final round (End of the Season) will be declared the winner.

Prizes: Trophies/medals will be awarded to the top three participants with the highest scores at the end of the season, with the winner receiving a shirt signed by the season’s leading goal scorer.

General Rules:

Participants must submit ALL their predictions before midnight on Friday 11 August 2023. Once a prediction is submitted, it cannot be changed or modified. The decisions of the organisers regarding any disputes or rule interpretations are final.

Note: The Trust Chairboys Challenge aims to create fun and excitement among participants while supporting Wycombe Wanderers and the Trust. The game is run by Wycombe Wanderers supporters’ Trust and is not affiliated with the Club or any other official football organisation.
