Heritage Restored!

The last of the painting work was today completed on the former Loakes Park gates which have stood at the entrance to the upper car park at Adams Park since being moved from our former ground in 1990.

This work was carried out by some of the volunteers who came forward to help do tasks around the stadium that would otherwise not get done or alternatively cost the club a lot of money.

The restoration of these gates and the painting of them and the Adams Park front gates was led by WW Trust and Frank Adams Legacy Ltd Director Alan Cecil ably assisted by Derek Allen with valuable help from Chris Waldron, and “many cooks” – that’s Christopher, Jenny and Victoria Cooke plus David and Josephine Cook.
