WWW Reserves watch mens team go to table-topping victory

Wycombe Wanderers Womens reserve team and their manager Lisa Starling were kindly invited to Adams Park on Saturday 15th January to watch the mens side take on Oxford United.

Before the game, the team met up with Nigel Kingston, Trust Chair, and Director Bob Massie at the outdoor Trust table. They were then invited to speak on Wycombe Sound Radio to talk about the Chairgirls season so far and their hopes for the remaining games.

They were 3rd in the table before today’s 6-0 win over Launton Ladies and with a good end to the season could be pushing for promotion. Some of the team have come up from the U18s and some of them have played in WWW first team too, this season.

Into the PreSonus stand they went and they took their seats inside the stadium and cheered on the Chairboys as they saw a 2-0 win over Oxford which took WWFC to the top of League One.

At half time, the team were invited onto the pitch and given a welcome from the crowd of just over 8000.

A big thank you to Wycombe Wanderers FC for hosting our Womens reserve side.
