The 36th Quarters Ball Club draw was conducted by Ben Brocklesby the boss of Origin Global, (UK manufacturer of quality bespoke aluminium bifold doors and windows) – a major sponsor of Wycombe Wanderers in recent years.
The special blue quartered ball was added in with the 1132 purchased balls and the first ball drawn out of the bag by Ben was number 473. This belonged to long time supporter James Chandler, who wins £905.60
James has been supporting the club for about 31 years since the days when as a baby/toddler, his parents Moyra and Graham (who were stewards at WWFC for many years) used to put him in the matchday creche! He got his first season ticket when he was about 5 or 6, so James has been around the club for as long as he can remember, progressing to now watch the games from the comfort and vantage position in the Frank Adams Stand.
Employed as an accountant in Thame, James, who was originally from High Wycombe, now lives in Henley with his wife, who he says will soon have plans for spending his prize!
